Dating back to the 1800s, this charming village house has been sympathetically and lovingly refurbished to offer spacious, bright and stylish accommodation fit for 21st-century families.

Located in the heart of the delightful village of Hunmanby, this property is under half a mile from the local amenities, which include several pubs and shops. From here, a short drive will bring you to the popular coastal town of Filey (3 miles), home to a glorious sweet of soft golden sand backed by Edwardian townhouses. Head north to visit the bustling resort of Scarborough (10 miles) to explore its iconic castle, pay tribute to Anne Bronte's grave or catch the cliff lift down to the beach. Heading slightly inland, the Yorkshire Wolds offer spectacular walking and cycling opportunities over rolling green hills and valleys.

What can I say, the cottage is everything we expected. I had booked the cottage for a long awaited break for my family. It was perfect, spacious but cosy, ultra clean and fresh. amazing large relaxing garden, and a great village with loads of little shops for all our needs. We all fell in love with Osgodby Cottage and hopefully will return again onRead moree day. Hide

The garden is not enclosed at all and runs straight onto a road. This is not safe for young children. The photos on the website are done in a way that this isnt shown and the description fails to mention it. The stairs also run straight out of the living area which again with clever photography isnt shown. Again not safe for toddlers. We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Osgodby cottage and enjoyed every minute. The cottage is beautiful and perfectly located near shops and pubs with childrens play areas a short walk away. Every person we met was friendly and helpful and some lovely walks and days out are only a short drive away.
