Beautiful location and the cottage was situated very close to the sea, with a short walk to the cafes and pub, which all do great meals. Regular bus into Whiby and Staithes, which we visited and didn't have to worry about finding parking. Walking to Whitby along the beach when the tide allows, is a lovely walk also. The cottage is cosy and very clean. The linen for the beds are super quality. The patio needs to be cleared and new furniture purchased.

Nice little cottage in a fantastic location. A literal stone's throw from the sea! Decent pub, lovely little cafe and excellent fish and chips just a few minutes walk away. The two and a bit mile walk along the beach into Whitby was a real highlight. We were a bit concerned about the lack of parking, but it turned out to be fine. There was always sRead morepace on the road and there were plenty free spaces in the car park over the road. We recommend a walk up the hill to The Stiddy - lovely little pub. Hide

Cottage was lovely and in a fabulous position very close to the sea front. It was clean enough to be comfortable but lacked those little details to make it really special. The outdoor area is a real bonus and very enjoyable to sit out there but the table and chairs need replacing and the garden really needs some TLC. There were some HUGE thistles gRead morerowing out of the plant pots. Hide
