Spring cottage is a great base for exploring Yorkshire - Karen has thought of everything so it really is a home from home. Great for babies and children as well as a travel cot, high chair and toys are provided. Would highly recommended staying here.

This really is a gorgeous cottage! It's much roomier than you might expect, attractive, beautifully styled and wonderfully comfortable, too. If all that wasn't enough, the thoughtful touches found on arrival make a stay here really special - cake, wine, crisps, etc.. The facilities are great, making this cottage a real home from home. The hairdRead moreryer was the first decent one I have ever had the joy of finding in a rental cottage or hotel room! The Wii in the family room (which is roomier than the pictures suggest) kept our pre-teens entertained in down time whilst not out exploring. If we had had younger children there's plenty to entertain them, too. Karen has really thought of everything! The cottage is perfectly placed to explore the moors and surrounding area - York, Eden Camp, Wharram Percy and all those picture perfect villages! We wish we'd stayed longer! Lovely cottage and location. With a large master bedroom, a king sized bed would have been more comfortable.

A lovely, well-equipped cottage, scrupulously clean on arrival, with a fantastic garden. A tray of Yorkshire goodies for the humans and a treat bag for the dog were nice gestures from Karen, the friendly and helpful owner. The local pub was great; friendly with good value, great tasting food. The location was good but there were no amenities other Read morethan the pub in walking distance and some of the very local footpaths were so overgrown that it was impossible to go down them for a dog walk. We'd definitely recommend the cottage and would happily stay there again if we went back to the area. Hide
