This is a great property for a stay in Whitby, it would be ideal for a small family with children in the Eight to fifteen year bracket. The facilities were very good and clean. The views from the windows were excellent. The location is ideal for exploring the town and coast nearby.

Our short break in spyglass in whitby was jus what we needed for my partners birthday. The accommodation was lovely with everything that we needed. And if we needed anything Gary was just a phone call away and happy to help with anything. Thank you Gary I'm sure we will back again. Marc and Angela.

Lovely place very comfortable, very close to the town, nice not having to pay for parking, the only issue was it said it had a internet connection but it did not felt mislead as that was what I looked for when booking.

We really enjoyed our stay in Whitby at Spyglass. The cottage is well situated for easy access to all Whitby has to offer, but the downside to this is being woken early around 7.30-8.00 by delivery men delivering goods to local shops. The cottage is well decorated and this provides the luxury touch, although there are minor issues that need addressRead moreing, repainting here and there, window frames need a good clean, etc. we would also say that the sofa bed in the living room could be replaced by a normal sofa, one which would be much comfier to sink in to after a day out, the sofa bed seams to want to push you forward. The rooms are all good, master bedroom very nice, just needs a mirror, the shower room is good and a good powerful shower, the living room/kitchen diner works well, and the kids enjoyed the attic room with their own wc. Overall we liked the cottage and if the few tweaks could be made then we would have given an overall rating of 9 or maybe 10. The only other negative is no WiFi. Wed stop here again but would be looking for a sharper degree of luxury. Hide
