Overlooking a valley leading down to the sea, this delightful cottage is ideally situated both for exploring the coast and for discovering the stunning scenery of the North York Moors (3.5 miles). The tranquil village of Sandsend features a charming promenade, a sandy beach and some great places to eat and drink. The famous seaside town of Whitby – known for its connections to the Dracula story – is just along the coast (3 miles) and offers fine restaurants, independent shops and a ruined abbey. There are many other beautiful locations to discover including Staithes (7.5 miles), Runswick Bay (5.5 miles) and the lovely village of Robin Hood's Bay (8 miles), renowned for its stunning views and maze of cobbled streets.
On entering this pretty holiday home, you will find a tastefully decorated lounge with beautiful views over the village and down to the sea. The lounge makes an ideal space to relax in, with comfortable seating, a flame effect electric fire, TV and DVD. There's also a light and stylish kitchen/diner, fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Going upstairs you will find three pretty bedrooms. There are two double rooms and a bunk bedroom which is perfect for children. There is also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.
Heading outside, the cottage offers two delightful gardens. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the bench to the front of the cottage which looks down over the village and towards the beach. Heading round to the back garden there are two lovely patios, including a sheltered spot with a fire pit, perfect for enjoying a meal alfresco.
