We had a lovely stay at Cherry Cottage. The cottage is decorated beautifully & the open plan living/dining space is ideal for families. The kitchen was well equipped with almost everything we needed (colander badly flaking, & no masher, but these are minor details!). Beds were extremely comfortable & there were plenty towels left for us. We loved tRead morehe wood burner but were disappointed on arrival not to have been provided with a starter kit as advertised. A well equipped, nicely styled cottage alongside other similar properties. Large, really good Shower and comfy double bed. Small outdoor seating area with bbq. Virtually no internet connection or 4G so dont expect it. Great trips to Bude, which is brill - beach, canal side walks and decent shops, Widemouth Bay , Appledore and Instow. Cherry cottage is a nice and comfortable cottage. Nice horizon views and a night sky full of stars. Very quiet area accessed along some typically narrow Devon lanes. You just have to be careful, theres no need to hurry, you cant. Use the directions given. The shortest route to A39 isnt the best! Overall, cottage was fine. Excellent shower. HW worked OK, but CH needed a call-out. Cottage reasonably clean, but many nooks and crannies missed. Sound bar did not work. Fridge not defrosted, ice box full of ice. Single bed used was rickety and very creaky! A delightful and comfortable cottage on a small farm. It is very quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of beautiful countryside and coastline. A car is essential.

Loved the slightly remote location with lots of single track roads. Best to arrive at cottage in daylight. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Comprehensive information about the area and facilities. We probably wouldn't have visited Lundy without seeing the information in the cottage. Would consider returning in the future.

We had a lovely week staying at this cottage. The cleanliness was faultless - every inch of the cottage was immaculate - and we quickly felt at home. Kitchen was very well equipped and the open plan of downstairs was great for the family. Bedrooms very comfortable with very comfortable mattresses and very clean bedding. The cottage is really beautiRead morefully nautically decorated throughout. Upstairs there are a few low beams and the shower has a low ceiling - tricky if you are 6ft3 :) Hide
