This is a little apartment which is the end part of a church hall. There is a little seating area out the back with lovely views across the church yard from the upstairs bedroom window. it is very quiet, beautifully decorated, cosy and compact. Ideal for two and/or a little dog. Owner parking and very local for shops and pubs etc. and walks.

Deer Cottage is a gorgeous, comfortable and quiet place to stay. The owner has decorated it to a high standard, the bed is comfortable, the shower is good, and there is plenty of hot water and heating when it's required. The lounge was very comfortable and the kitchen table just right for a game of cards. And there is a delightful courtyard garden Read moreto sit in. Hide

Good base for exploring Forest of Dean and surrounding counties. Ludlow easily accessible for instance. Easy flat parking for two cars. Comfortable and cosy. Dog walking is easy from the property on foot.

On arrival I was disappointed to find the "cottage" was actually a subdivided church hall with three small houses accessed through a communal hallway. However, disappointment was soon dispelled as the accommodation is really comfortable, warm and cosy. The views are wonderful to both back and front, and there is easy parking for two cars. The ForesRead moret of Dean is just a walk away and just so many places of interest can be accessed with ease. The neighbours are very friendly and kind. Hide
