Absolutely beautiful cottage and garden. As the cottage is rural and not close to a pub etc it catered for enjoyable evenings in. The dog loved the garden with little paths to sniff and explore. The lawned area was bathed in sunlight in the afternoon. There was plenty of bird feeders to watch birds. There was a wine fridge in the kitchen and also aRead more fridge in the games room. There is a Lidl and Tesco in Barnstaple. Fantastic place to stay. Hide

A super week spent in a lovely part of Devon with great weather. Had cosy nights in front of the wood burner and lots of fun playing air hockey. The cottage was clean and comfortable but the garden needed a lot more care and attention. There were a few chipped mugs and plates which needed replacing and the parking situation is an absolute nightmareRead more especially with three cars, two children under three years old and three dogs. The neighbours were not happy with us using the suggested parking area Hide

The property was amazing, I relaxed the minute I came through the door. There were so many kind touches too, the wine, cake, Dog toys and treats. The Garden was amazing, I would have spent all my time in it, if it had not rained soo much and been cold. The versatility of the different reception rooms was lovely.

A lovely house with plenty of room. It was so nice to receive a welcome basket, with something for everyone in it - including the dogs! The garden was wonderful, as were the games to use. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to return again.

Beautiful cottage!! Felt like a home rather than a holiday let. Loads of space, very well equipped, comfortable and cosy. We loved the games room and the garden would be lovely in the summer.

Parking very poor on a main road where you need to squeeze into the side of a wall or you risk getting hit! The bed my 79 year old dad slept in collapsed due to no fixings. The pictures of the property are taken at creative angles which once at the property I felt deceived. Overall disappointed.

Gunn Cottage was really comfortable with space for children and adults to play and chill. I particularly loved the garden it had a certain zen about it. The hooting owls the first night got us all going , my daughter thinking she had spotted a real bar owl in the shed window!!

A lovely well equipped house perfect for family groups or friends (and dogs!). Beautifully decorated and comfortable with every modern technology included, and the pool table/air hockey was a big hit with us! Garden is great with bbq area and fun stuff to play in the summer house. A great place to really escape to. The drive to get to the seaside iRead mores further than I would like, but its very well located for Exmoor. Thanks so much for a great holiday. Hide

Gunn Cottage is spacious, comfortable and in a very rural location, but close to Barnstaple for services and the beaches nearby. It is well equipped with a beautiful garden. It is ideal for a very large family or two households with four lovely bedrooms. The games room/lounge will please the children with pool table and air hockey.

**not a review - just a comment** all the above are improvements we would suggest - we were thankful that the house was so clean and the space it offered but as the garden hardly ever gets any sun and due to the busy road we wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
