This has been the best doggy cottage we've been to. The cottage was very comfortable and our dogs loved it. It was very secure and we would definitely go there again.

Very comfortable layout. The spacious kitchen was a bonus. The large upstairs bedroom was amazing. This is surely one of the most spacious cottages throughout that we have stayed in. The garden was more than adequate for our border collie/black lab cross and he enjoyed sitting in the sun. It was a lovely and quiet location even with Donna Nook RAF Read moreairfield being close and hearing the planes. Would certainly recommend to anyone that is looking for a property for four people. Cottage was great and comfortable. I loved that they acceptthe dogs and have a welcome treat for whem left. There is even a towels for a dog in a drawer so it can be dried after swimming in the sea. Just 5 min drive there is a beach with plenty space for dogs to run. And to see wild seals was great for kids.

We spent New Year at Violets Retreat, it was lovely. Very well equipped and plenty of space for us all. The living room is really cosy with the fire. We went to Donna Nook to the Seal Sanctuary and then into Mablethorpe for a walk on the beach. Really lovely.

We found Violets Retreat spacious and very comfortable. The property is a short way down a quiet lane and the village has food shops and a pub .. The historic market town of Louth is around eight miles away and also reasonably close are wide sandy beaches and the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.

A very relaxing week. Dogs loved the local walks. Highly recommend the butcher at the farm about a mile from the cottage, we had some T bones....amazing!! The cottage was a lot bigger than we expected, very clean and the welcome basket wasn't expected at all. Nice touch. We would definitely return. Thank you.
