A light and airy cottage set in a beautiful complex, in the Lancashire countryside. Ideal for those looking for a break away and a good base for exploring. Sleeps 2+1

Part of a complex in the Lancashire countryside with miles of uplands, wooded valleys and country walks to discover by foot or cycle to be enjoyed straight from your doorstep. Within easy reach of the cosmopolitan cities of Manchester and Liverpool which are rich in culture with their vibrant shopping districts, restaurants and café culture. Situated between the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District, which are all easily reached. Allow these jewels of the English countryside to be must visits during your stay. Lancashire’s iconic seaside town of Blackpool, with its miles of sandy beach, amusements and pleasure beach with rides to suit all the family, is one of the many attractions that will tempt you during your visit.

Stepping into this light and airy cottage with comfortable open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking your evening meal with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. The dining table seats everybody and is a perfect place to enjoy a family meal. Relax in the lounge and catch up on your favourite programmes on the TV/DVD. Completing the ground floor is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Heading upstairs to the mezzanine floor is the bedroom with tastefully decorated super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom, (which can be made into a twin on request) and additional single bed.

Outside there is a private courtyard with garden furniture and off-road parking for one car. There is also a lovely outdoor area, accessed by handmade wooden bridges over the surrounding fresh running stream. On the Island you will find a brick charcoal BBQ and campfire pit with plenty of wooden benches to relax on. Within the complex you can arrange the private use of the hot tub to soak, relax and unwind after a day exploring the area.
