The lodge enjoys a beautiful and timeless view across to historic Bodiam Castle, which is managed by the National Trust and is well worth a visit. Hop on the nearby Kent and East Sussex railway and take a visit to the market town of Tenterden with its tree lined high street, and wide range of independent shops, restaurants and cafes. For keen walkers, there are ample local footpaths surrounding the property which are perfect to explore the surrounding areas and enjoy unspoilt views. 5 minutes stroll within the grounds of Quarry Farm, there is also a café and farm shop, "The Hub" offering Wi-Fi, water sports, a beauty salon and many other facilities.
From the veranda, enter through the patio doors into this delightful lodge into an open-plan lounge/ kitchen /diner, with large bay window with far reaching views. The cosy lounge features a comfy sofa, perfect for cosying up in front of the TV/DVD and watching a good film. The kitchen is contemporary and well-equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave, and fridge, and has a breakfast bar and stools. Walk through to the romantic bedroom where there is a double bed and beyond this you will find the uniquely finished shower room with a large walk-in shower, twin basins and WC. The bespoke fittings throughout are made from oak salvaged from the woodland around the farm from the 1987 storm.
Outside, the covered veranda is the perfect spot to relax whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly, before dining alfresco on the patio table and chairs. A bench to the side of the lodge next to the chiminea offers views of the sunset - a perfect end to a perfect day. There is ample off-road parking next to the property.
