This is a lovely comfortable property in a very quiet area. Ideal for a quiet getaway. Two minutes walk to the beach, 20 mins to the village. It is a long drive down a very rugged track - not for the faint hearted! But definitely worth it. The castle is worth visiting for its fabulous views. We ate at the Inn at the Sticks - lovely food and serviceRead more . There are lots of spectacular beaches around if you want to drive, we found exploring the immediate area was enough for us. Highly recommend this. Hide

The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the beach where you can watch the tide coming and going along the beautiful estuary. The cottage is perfectly well set up for two of us. We'll be back again soon.

Great second stay at Mayfair. It is well equipped and in a very quiet location. Walks on the beach which is a stone throw away and although no direct view of the sea, perfect for us. Wish we had taken more note of previous comments about the access track. In a small car it is very bad. Hut bigger than we thought. Sofa as well as chaise lounge. Could do with decent outside chairs . Walk along the beach good. Village very friendly. Small view of water in between cabins in front. Feel it needs some TLC. We won't be returning.
