Superb stone cottage with lots of character set in the village of Reeth, it's a fabulous place for day trips into Swaledale and Wensleydale with dramatic scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.

This property is set in an idyllic location in the Yorkshire Dales, tucked away just off the village green in Reeth, with pub, shops and cafe. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Yorkshire Dales countryside, and experience a true flavour of Dales village life all at the same time. The views from the cottage over the village and beyond to Harkerside are just breath-taking. Recommended day trips include a drive across Buttertubs Pass, this jaw-dropping mountainous road connects Swaledale to its neighbour Wensleydale, and it features some of the most dramatic scenery in the Yorkshire Dales.

Enter the property through the handy entrance porch with room to store coats, shoes and muddy walking boots. This leads through to the gorgeous lounge, complete with a cosy wood burner nestling under an inglenook fireplace, and adding to the character, its warm oak floorboards and exposed beams overhead. Light the fire and snuggle up on the comfy sofas and watch a movie on the Smart TV with access to Netflix and Bluetooth speakers. The lounge leads through into the kitchen/diner, a bright space with shaker style units and a chunky wooden worktop, where you can enjoy breakfast with family around the stylish dining table. It’s a pleasure cooking and entertaining in here, with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is an outdoor utility room which is home to the washing machine and tumble dryer. Head up to the stairs to the first floor where you will find the two bedrooms, the first is the beautiful master bedroom with views out across the Dales with king-size bed and Smart TV, for if you fancy a spot of morning TV. The second bedroom also enjoys lovely front views, a double bed and a Smart TV. Completing the accommodation is the very stylish and contemporary shower room with shower and WC.

There is lots to enjoy outside this property too, sitting within a gated area the property has its own delightful patio set behind a white picket fence. There is a circular dining table and chairs, the perfect spot for al fresco dining or that cool sundowner before dining out in the village. There is also a charcoal BBQ provided so you can make the most of those summer evenings. There is off-road parking found on the green, subject to availability, just a short walk from the property.
