A cosy traditional cottage in a great location. We loved Beaminster with its fab shops and local pub. Cottage was great for our needs. Dog walking field just behind cottage was very handy. Particularly enjoyed the open fire. Owner helpful with suggestions on where to visit etc.

A lovely stay at Shortmoor - very relaxing, quiet and comfortable. Good walking off the beaten track - recommend the Wessex Way, Stoke Abbott and Netherbury/Waytown - all lovely to walk to/on. We hope to come again soon. Thank you, Sam and Chris

Absolutely amazing holiday. The owner came out especially within 24 hours of our arrival to fit some stair gates so that we could relax with our toddler.

A lovely cottage, very homely especially with the lovely woodburner on. Needs a bit of tlc, nothing drastic. Beds comfy and shower more than adequate. TV could do with being updated to a smart tv so people can log into their netflix accts etc, but we coped as we bought some dvds for rainy days. Great for dog owners. Easy access to footpaths across the fields. The property is tucked away on the edge of Beaminster so the housekeeper took the time to make sure we had located it ok. Note the postcode takes you right to the property (on my satnav anyway). Great welcome - home made cakes, bottle of wine and vase of flowers.
