A charming property on the edge of the beautifully preserved village of Burton Bradstock, this cottage has a large private garden with flowing countryside views as well as rare proximity to the sea and a beautiful beach.

Boasting great access to Burton Bradstock’s shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as an abundance of countryside and coastal walks, you will be spoilt for choice. A real haven for beach lovers, you can spend long afternoons strolling by the waterside and playing games, before laying back on a towel under the sun. For food with a view, book a table at the beachside cafe only 0.5 miles away and dig your knife and fork into succulent fodder. 2 miles away, West Bay is also a great place to visit, home to lots of cool cafes and pubs.

A former coastguard cottage, this property is approached via steep stone steps and a raised garden. A large home with lots of space for both socialising and privacy, all the family will love spending time here. For evenings spent together, the lounge is furnished with plenty of comfortable seating facing a TV and beautiful inglenook fireplace with wood burner. Turn on the Hi-Fi, pick up one of the books provided or flick through the channels to find your favourite show. From the lounge, you can access the kitchen/diner. A family-orientated space with large dining table and farmhouse-style vibes, it is very much the heart of the home. Framed by exposed, wood beams overhead, tiled floors and attractive, rustic details, you can relax into the rhythm as you cook up a hearty meal. Throw open the door to the garden to listen to the call of birdsong or chatter away with your loved ones as you plate up. Home to a range cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and more, the kitchen is well-supplied with everything you could need. Upstairs you will come to the property’s three bedrooms. First, the generously-sized master bedroom benefits from a 5ft double bed and en-suite bathroom, complete with bath (with shower overhead) for soothing muscles at the end of the day. The second bedroom is another double whilst the third is a twin, ideal for children. The family bathroom has warm tones and comes with both a bath and separate shower.

Outside, spend time relaxing and socialising in the big enclosed garden with rolling lawn and steep banks. Watch the kids as they play games in the sun and light up the BBQ for a flame-grilled feast. Surrounded by countryside, you can enjoy the great proximity to nature and watch the sheep mooch around in the neighbouring farmland. For somewhere to leave your car, there is parking on the lane 200 yards away.

An excellent property. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Both showers were amazing, something not always up to scratch. Quality bedding. Garden lovely with amazing views. So close to the sea with super sunrise and sunsets. Two excellent pubs within walking distance and a good restaurant along the cliff top (take a torch for return journey!) Biscuits, mince pies, flowers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree were all waiting for us when we arrived. We had expected none of it. The kitchen is huge and kitted out with every utensil imaginable. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating for 6 people and the lighting was perfect for both cosy togetherness and reading. We had a brilliant week in this lovely, very cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. The weather was mixed and really appreciated coming home to the woodburner in particular. We know the village and beach quite well, and as before, enjoyed being close to the local pubs and 'The Hive' cafe, only a short walk away.

Nicest cottage we have stayed in, in a perfect location. 5 minutes walk to the beach and pubs. The cottage is really well equipped and very comfortable - especially the beds. Lovely big kitchen and living room, plenty of room for everyone. Lovely garden to relax in, so peaceful. Didnt want to come home - we will definitely be back

Our third time of staying in Cliff cottage, so we appreciate that it is still available to hire out, with the new owners. East Court, Shipton Gorge, where we stayed 2 yrs. ago was delightful, but having no shop and a steep rear garden/terraced too, proved difficult with a dog & older member of the family.
