This superb house, standing in 2 acres of land in the lovely village of Morwenstow, provides a spacious and comfortable holiday home, and is a short distance from sandy beaches and rugged coastlines.

You will be close to the Devon/Cornwall border, perfect for visiting both picturesque counties and exploring all they have to offer. There is so much to see and do in the area with a choice of glorious golden beaches, the South West Coast Path and many unspoilt coves. Enjoy nearby Bude with its Splashpool, canal, shops, pubs and restaurants, and the historical village of Clovelly with its cobbled streets, visitor centre, tea rooms and shops. Other attractions include The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Hartland Abbey, Arlington Court, Tapeley Park, Rosemoor Gardens and The Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island.

On entering this splendid property you will find yourself in the first of two inviting and comfortable lounges, an ideal spot for relaxing in, complete with TV/DVD, and a wood burner to snuggle in front of. French doors lead out to the garden. The second, more intimate, lounge is also a great place to unwind in, complete with TV. Moving into the elegant and stylishly designed kitchen/diner you will find everything you may need including electric range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and TV. You can grab breakfast at the breakfast bar, or enjoy something more substantial in the attractive dining area. Exploring the cottage further, you will find a delightful sunroom overlooking the garden with views of the surrounding countryside. You will also find a comfy single bedroom on the ground floor. There is also both a shower room with WC and a separate WC on the ground floor, as well as a utility room with washing machine and sink. Going upstairs you will find four more comfy and spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, TV, walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious en-suite shower room with WC. You will find a further king-size with TV, a double with TV and a twin. There is also a bathroom complete with free standing bath, large separate shower and WC.

Stepping outside you can relax in the large enclosed garden area complete with seating and BBQ and a play area for children with trampoline with net, swings and a playhouse. There is also ample parking available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Crosslands House is furnished to a very high standard, everything you could possibly need is there. The house is warm (needed for a wet and cold October half term) and welcoming. Lovely cottage in a fantastic location. There were eight of us but at no point did we feel we were getting under each others feet as the cottage was very spacious with a large garden as well.

Crosslands House is amazing. An absolutely beautiful holiday house, so much space and modern decor. The owners were so friendly and helpful and left a delicious cake on our arrival. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Cottage house is a great holiday destinationin a picturesque area with fabulous views. The house is great for large groups, especially families. We were really happy with all the facilities; the garden, the animals, the swing, trampoline and the big closets, the sun room. We had a lovely time here and would highly recommended to all.

A lovely house, great for a large group.the house is stylish and comfortable, well and thoughtfully equipped - even a drawer of games. We had a lovely week with all of our family, the location is great (sat nav took us straight there), the house is more than comfortable, being spacious, well equipped and clean. A large garden kitted out with children in mind, my grandson really loved the trampoline. There are also some ponies and goats nearby to keep animal lovers amused. Easy accRead moreess to many nearby activities, the pool in Bude is great. However you do need a car to reach many of them. We hope to go back. Hide

Fantastic family home from home. We are a large family and Stying at crosslands house made a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday. The breathtaking views are such a relaxing way to start the day. Everything you could need is provided. Even things you dont realise you need are there.
