Come into the entrance hall and leave your coats and shoes. Before heading into the main hub of the home, you can browse the bookcases in the entrance hall and choose some reading material for evenings curled up on the sofa. There’s also a handy downstairs WC. From the entrance hall, you can access the light and airy lounge/dining room. Both spacious and cosy, the room has been finished with thoughtful details and has plenty of seating including a dining table with chairs for all the family. Whether you’re enjoying a relaxed morning or luxurious evening in, warm your toes in front of the wood burner and switch on the TV for some added entertainment. With light flooding in from the windows and patio doors, it is a great space to kick back throughout the day. Also on the ground floor is the kitchen which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a microwave and lots of pots and utensils, so you can find everything you need for meal preparations. There is also a dishwasher and a washing machine provided for extra convenience. Switch on the radio or open the door to the garden and listen to the melody of birdsong outside. Upstairs, there is an attractive family bathroom and three bedrooms. These include a king-size, a double and a twin with a rollaway bed which has slightly reduced head height in places.
Heading outside, there is a gravel courtyard to the rear of the cottage with outdoor seating and a BBQ. From here, gated steps lead up to pretty grass terraces where you can admire the views from the top. There is also a wooden doghouse and off road parking for two cars.
