A great cottage with everything u need for your holiday. Decoration could maybe be refreshed but its cosy and well equipped . The location is tucked away slightly but once youre familiar with the narrow roads it all seems to fall in place. Its perfect for exploring the bridport, west bay, Lyme Regis and even Weymouth part of Dorset which is what weRead more did. Highly recommend Lyme Regis and west bay for a nice day out and then back to the cottage for a glass of wine in the garden. Hide

A really lovely cottage and area. We would happily stay again. We do have very young children (2 under 2) and realise that you can't walk out of the village with a pram as there are no pavements, but this is nothing to do with the cottage but part of the character of the area. We were very pleased with our stay at East Court cottage in Shipton Gorge. We found the cottage to be clean, comfortable and warm. The kitchen had every utensil which one might require! We did eventually get the log burner going which created a pleasant atmosphere. Due to the poor weather we unfortunately weren't able to use the lovely garden.

We had a lovely family stay with our dog. Lovely to have the enclosed courtyard area to let her out whenever she wanted. The cottage was very well equipped. Freezer is in the garage on the driveway.
