Wonderful location in such a pretty and friendly village - the view of the church from the garden was gorgeous and unexpected. The cottage was perfect for us and our 2 boys and dog - plenty of room and very comfortable, with everything we needed. We will definitely be back and feel very lucky to have found such a great place to stay.

The cottage was immaculate on arrival and had pretty much everything needed for that "home from home" feeling. It was also much more spacious than it appeared in the photos and my wife and I, plus two kids and our dog had plenty of room. Shipton Gorge is very pretty, but there are no shops, although the pub (the New Inn) was just a few minutes walkRead more and provided excellent food and drink. It was a great base from which to explore the gorgeous Dorset countryside. Highly recommended! Hide

East court is in a lovely Dorset village. Near the sea and countryside the lovely hive beach is not far away. The cottage is very clean and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped and the decor is pleasing. We had a lovely week here.

This cottage is perfect for a cosy retreat. It is well equipped with every eventuality covered. We took our two yorkshire terriers who struggled a bit with the stone chips that got hot for their feet but once up the steps to the garden there is plenty of grass and a fantastic view of the church. You have countryside walks and the coast is just 10 mRead moreinutes away. Will definitely return. Hide
