The picturesque coastal village of Charmouth enjoys a fantastic location on the Jurassic Coast, with the best fossil-hunting beach in the county just a few metres away. The popular town of Lyme Regis (3.5 miles) is renowned for its links to Jane Austen and Henry Fielding and is home to the historic 13th-century Cobb Harbour, as well as offering a fantastic choice of shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema and theatre. There are numerous beautiful beaches nearby, including Eype (7.5 miles), West Bay (8.5 miles) and Hive Beach (10 miles). You can also explore the stunning Golden Cap (4 miles) or head inland to the charming towns of Bridport (7 miles) and Beaminster (14.5 miles).
On entering this light and airy holiday home, you can leave boots and coats in the hall. The lounge is an ideal space to relax in at the end of the day, with a woodburner, plenty of seating, beautiful views through the three floor-to-ceiling picture windows, SkyTV/DVD and Wii. The dining room is a bright and welcoming space, perfect for enjoying a family meal. The attractive kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Exploring further, there are three comfortable bedrooms, all with original floorboards and sea views. There’s a dual aspect room with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. There’s also a double room with a shower room with a WC, as well as a twin bedroom. You will also find an additional shower room with a WC and a utility room.
Three steps lead down to the back porch and out into the garden. The property is surrounded by a terrace with steps leading down to the large garden which comprises three lawn terraces with flower beds, trees and shrubs. There’s seasonal gated access to the beach. Ample off-road parking is available for three cars.
