From the exposed beams and rafters to the exposed brickwork features, slate flooring, and stunning oak staircase, this converted stable is a touch of class from beginning to end.

This beautifully converted stable is located at the end of an unenclosed gravelled drive and is surrounded by stone walls, trees and shrubs. It sits beyond the owner’s house and outbuildings of the former farm. The property is conveniently located on the lane to the neighbouring village and beach of Seatown and is within walking distance (300 yards) of a pub and local shop. A 7-mile drive down the coast will take you to Lyme Regis, a popular tourist destination where you can visit the Marine Aquarium, Dinosaurland Fossil Museum or even try your hand at a spot of deep-sea fishing (season and weather permitting). There are a number of local walks, some of which are on the fossil trails and you can even visit Monmouth Beach (7 miles) to view some impressive fossils on the beach.

On entering the property through a wooden stable door, there are bedrooms on either side of the hall. Both are spacious and light double bedrooms, each containing a king-size wooden sleigh bed and a selection of attractive wooden bedroom furniture, wooden beams to the ceilings and exposed brickwork features. Each bedroom has a set of French doors leading to the outside terrace, and each has its own en-suite with stunning slate flooring, one is a bathroom with a bath and shower over, the other is a shower room. Going further down the hall and up the beautiful oak staircase you enter an open-plan space comprising the kitchen, dining area and lounge. The room is light and airy with exposed wooden rafters, brickwork features, sloping ceilings and skylights. There is a comfortable seating area where you can watch the Smart TV, as well as a desk area, dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

To the exterior of the property, there is a large terrace with a seating area to soak in all the nature surrounding you. There is parking available for one car.

A lovely comfortable, clean cottage, and very well equipped. The owners were so helpful, but not at all intrusive. Location good, with just a 15minute walk down a very quiet lane to the sea. Ate at the Anchor and the George, and both spot on.
