You will also be close to RSPB Stoborough Heath (4 miles), the picturesque Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (3 miles) and Durlston Country Park (12 miles). The nearby town of Wareham (4 miles) has a variety of great places to eat and drink, as does the charming seaside town of Swanage (11.5 miles). On entering this spacious and quirky property, which incorporates a former pottery studio, you will find a glazed porch which is perfect for boots and coats. This leads you through to the hall and into the first lounge which is a relaxing and inviting space with plenty of seating and TV/DVD. Moving into the stylish open-plan kitchen/diner you will find a lovely dining area, perfect for enjoying a celebratory meal. The kitchen with ceramic floor is equipped with a double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer and dryer. Next to this room is the cosy and imaginatively decorated second lounge, with TV/DVD, a brick fireplace, iPod dock and wood burner. A galleried landing runs above this room. Exploring the ground floor further you will find two comfortable bedrooms: a twin room and a bunk bedroom. There are also two bathrooms on the ground floor, each with a shower over the bath and a WC. Two staircases lead upstairs. One staircase leads up from the bunk bedroom up to the gallery and along to a large triple bedroom with single beds. The main staircase leads up to an additional triple room with single beds, a double bedroom (which can be made up as a twin room on request) and a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and a WC. There is a connecting door between the first triple room and the double.
Stepping outside, the garden features a substantial lawn with trees and shrubs to the front. The garden is fenced to the lane but is not childproof and is often visited by deer. At the back of the property, there’s a gravelled seating area and a raised bank with a tree house which is off-limits to guests. There is ample off-road parking.
