The exterior is equally as impressive, with raised terrace areas complete with seating and a BBQ alongside a pretty lawn. A small barn near to the property houses a washing machine and freezer. Footpaths radiate out across the owner’s land bordering Durlston Country Park and the picturesque South West Coast Path. Whether you wish to throw down a blanket and appreciate the peace and quiet or set out to discover your surroundings, you are spoilt for choice in this prime location. Furthermore, you can get to know the owner’s donkeys and livestock as you explore the area. There is parking for one car adjacent to the cottage with additional parking above.

Very comfy and cozy, home from home. Beautiful views, even have donkeys to feed. Peaceful location but near to town, beaches and walks. Hope to return in 2021. Would definitely recommend

My second stay at ZigZag. The cottage is in a stunning location on the edge of Durlston Country Park, with views over Swanage Bay to the Isle of Wight. Lovely and quiet. The owners are very welcoming & helpful and the accommodation is warm & well laid out with everything you might need. There are great walks from the door and plenty of interesting Read moreplaces to visit just a short car journey away, including RSPB Arne, Durlston Castle, Corfe Castle & Studland. Hide

This is the most wonderful place to stay! Zigzag cottage is one of the most comfortable, cosy and welcoming cottages we have satyed in! The view is to die for, looking out over dry stone walled fields to the ever changing sky and sea. Very cosy base for a week walking the Purbeck coastline. Owner Sue greeted us on arrival and answered any queries. The views were wonderful and the comfort of Zig Zag meant we had a wonderful holiday.
