This stylish townhouse boasts spacious rooms, contemporary decor, a large enclosed garden, games room and private hot tub all within walking distance to the popular market town of Bideford.

This property is situated in a peaceful residential area close to the popular market town of Bideford. A 15-minute stroll along the riverside will bring you to the centre of town, where you will find a choice of shops and pubs as well as a pannier and open-air markets. Once you have finished exploring the town and stocked up on supplies for you stay, jump in the car for 5 minutes to reach Westward Ho! where 2 miles of sandy beach and an array of seaside attractions provide endless entertainment for all ages. Walkers and cyclists are well catered for with the South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail within easy reach, both offering spectacular sea views. Other nearby attractions include Croyde, Woolacombe, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor and Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks.

While this stylish and spacious accommodation adjoins the owners’ property, privacy is assured throughout your stay. Prepare meals for the whole family in the open plan and contemporary kitchen/diner, located on the ground floor. Here you will find an electric double oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, together with a large dining table beneath stylish pendant lighting and a TV/DVD to keep you entertained while cooking. A shower room and utility area with washing machine are situated on the lower ground floor where there is a door opening onto the garden. Once you have finished your meals, retreat to the grand lounge next door, which features wooden flooring, a decorative chandelier, a wall-mounted TV/DVD with a Wii games console and extensive seating to include a quaint window seat for admiring the views. On the first floor, two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom enjoy an en-suite shower room each, while a further twin bedroom has access to the stylish bathroom with bath and handheld shower and also a separate shower. Upstairs on the second floor, you will find the master bedroom king-size with TV and an en-suite bathroom, free standing bath and separate shower cubicle, together with one twin bedroom with TV and en-suite shower room.

Step outside the property and onto a sheltered decked area where you will find a private hot tub and access to a games room with table tennis and pool table. Steps lead down from the terrace to a large enclosed lawn garden with a fenced pond, garden furniture and BBQ, perfect for enjoying sunny al fresco meals.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Large house suitable for families. Well equipped. Owner Maurice always available. Central for visiting North Devon. We had good weather so tried all the local beaches. Croyde was our favourite.

Lovely house, spacious with all the facilities you would need. Games rooms in the cellar great for kids and adults, hot tub in the garden is a nice for relaxing in the early evening but be aware in darkness after 8.30pm. Walk to town is over the 15 minutes advertised would say nearer 25. Great area for driving to Appledore, Westwood Ho where you caRead moren walk and nice places to eat and drink. Owners are a lovely couple who live in adjoining property, always available to help. Hide

Perfect property for our extended family holiday. Great location for various North Devon tourist spots. House contained everything we needed during the week, we were blessed with good weather all week so didn't make use of the various recreational facilities in the basement but nice to just chill out in the lovely garden and hot tub at the end of eRead moreach day. Beacon House was really good base for our mixed group of children and adults with places/Beaches not too far away Made good use of garden, hot tub and indoor games. Managed to complete a gigsaw between us

A lovely well presented property, finished to a high standard. It was functional for a large party and well laid out. Great location for sightseeing North Devon into Cornwall. Also plenty to do at the property if a rainy day occurs.

Nice house in a good location, close to many of North Devons top beaches and attractions. Not the most cosy or comfortable propery but we had an enjoyable family break
