Bridge View House was good - clean, spacious, well equipped and well situated. We also booked Bridge View Retreat, which was disappointing. It is much smaller and the living accommodation is poor. The kitchen is miniscule and inconvenient. The sitting area is long and narrow so that the two sofas are positioned end to end meaning that the TV is difRead moreficult to see and conviviality impossible. The double bedroom has a low ceiling and poor sound insulation from the bathroom of the flat above. Hide

Great location especially for dog owners being so close to river. Very spacious, well-equipped flat with generous-sized rooms. Lovely bedrooms and breakfast kitchen. Parking wasnt an issue during our stay here. Overall a very pleasant stay in Rothbury.

Really nice location, right in the heart of Rothbury, beds were really comfy and the living room are was nice, the kitchen area was also very good with a lot of equipment my only negative was the bathroom as it is on the lower floor to the Bedrooms, the bath is quite small and its awkward to have a shower. However this would not put us off coming aRead moregain and it was only a little gripe in the Whole stay. Hide

If you want a spacious two story, well equipped, spotlessly clean apartment in a central position in a delightful small town in the heart of the Northumberland countryside this is for you. I stayed there for a week with my two grandchildren (12 and 10) and we had a great time. The location is ideal for the coast or the inland sights and all shops eRead moretc are within very easy reach. Note that the bathroom is not on the same floor as the bedrooms which might be a problem for older guests. Hide

Lovely cottage in a great location. No parking outside but plenty of free street parking. Big and spacious and well equipped. Can hear church bells ringing during the night? Not sure why they ring overnight though? Ok if you shut the windows.
