Wonderful comfortable stay, despite the rain, Aga was a good experience, well equipped in a lovely location to explore the area, ideal for those with limited mobility. The Cross Keys across the road served good food.

The main reason we booked the Old Milking Parlour was to give my 92 year old Mum a holiday. Her lack of mobility means she has a walker and wheelchair. The cottage was ideal as it has lovely spacious rooms, all one level and walk-in wet room bathrooms. The aga was fun to cook on as well as making the cottage warm and cosy. All this and the beautifuRead morel countryside the cottage is set in made it an ideal choice for us. Hide

The milking shed has been well converted and the fittings are of high quality. Its quiet and secure. Beds comfortable. Lack of anywhere to hang clothes is the only real negative. Fields good for the dog but must be kept on a lead because of the chickens. Easy access to Frome, pub across road and main roads to elsewhere.

Beautiful barn conversion with all mod cons in a great location. Comfy and cosy, with wood burner for the colder months. Lovely hosts so welcoming, including their chickens and friendly dogs. Five mins drive from pretty Frome, with its many markets, and 15 mins from Longleat and Stourhead. We will be back and recommend to others.

The Milking Parlour has been finished to a first class standard. It is modern but with a charm about it. The wet rooms are fantastic, as are the beds and the kitchen. In my opinion I would rate it as a 5* plus. Simply beautiful. The added bonus of chickens is lovely and their eggs taste divine. I would have been more than hapoy to have moved in.
