With uninterrupted sea views panning from Rame Head to Falmouth, This “Forgotten Corner” of Cornwall has miles of dog friendly beaches manned by the RNLI making this a great place for swimmers and surfers, only a few hundred yards down the beach you will most likely be alone as this beach doesn’t tend to get crowded. Rosamunde Pilcher wrote a lot of her books based on the area and the film “Turner” starring Timothy Spall and directed by Mike Leigh was filmed directly below the chalet’s viewing deck. Cawsands and King Sands are both a good coastal walk away or a short lazy drive, with a range of coffee shops and cafes perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Milbrook is the closest village with a range of amenities including shops and pubs.
Stepping into the property will bring you into the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with cosy sofa and two chairs this is the perfect place to relax with a good book, or if the weather lets you down snuggle up, light the wood burner and watch a movie on the TV/DVD. There is also a double bed here providing additional sleeping for two guests. There is a dining table for four, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a nice meal if you do decide to stay in. The kitchen area is well-equipped with everything you need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. To the side of the property is a utility shed with a washer/dryer and freezer. Heading further into the property brings you to the master king-size bedroom, with TV and offering access to the private decked area greeting you with stunning views from the moment you wake up. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with shower and WC.
Heading outside is where you will discover the true beauty of this property, with complete privacy you can relax on the sun loungers or dine alfresco at the garden table and chairs after a busy day exploring. With no light pollution aside from the Eddystone Lighthouse breaking through you will have the most perfect night skies to admire. The property has parking for one car and a wheelbarrow is provided to assist with unloading luggage down the steep path to the property.
