A stunning coastal retreat, just a 300m level walk from Oxwich Bay beach. Enjoy the very best that Gower has to offer with beautiful beaches, countryside, wildlife and pretty villages to explore.

Located in the beautiful coastal village of Oxwich Bay, just a short walk from the stunning sandy beach. Golden sands, dunes and perfect bathing, this is a holiday destination for the most discerning of coastal lovers. There are restaurants right on the beach, and a village store, tea room and little takeaway for all other essentials. Gower is popular with surfers, walkers and cyclists alike and you are also well placed to enjoy all of these activities. Many fun days out with visitor attractions, caves, castles, churches and a lighthouse, all within easy reach. Nearby Mumbles also has a range of independent shops and eateries for you to try out. This is a great spot for families and couples alike.

Enter this fabulous detached property into the hallway, where you can kick off your boots after a day of exploration. Heading right through double doors into the beautiful lounge with exposed stone fireplace, wood burner and beamed ceiling. There is a TV and gaming station for all of your entertainment needs and French doors to the rear garden. From the hallway there is a fabulous open-plan kitchen/diner with all mod cons including an electric oven and hob, American style fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The dining area is a delight and perfect for a large family gathering. There is additional seating for a relaxing read in the afternoon. French doors lead to the rear garden and there is also a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a ground floor king-size double bedroom and a separate WC that completes the ground floor. Upstairs to the first floor, you will find the master super-king-size bedroom, along with tasteful artwork throughout and a lovely en-suite shower room and WC. Along the landing are the two further bedrooms, both twin zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made up as super-king-size bedrooms on request). There is a superb bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC that completes the accommodation.

Outside there is a simply fantastic enclosed rear garden, here you will find a large patio, lawn area, BBQ and a wonderful summer house where you can chat long into the night, staying snug and warm with the outside wood burner, electric heater and lights. The garden is enclosed but is bordered by the renowned marshlands, so there is lots of wildlife to enjoy too. There is private parking to the front of the property for four cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage was brilliant very comfortable, had everything we needed. There were six of us and two dogs and there was plenty of space. We all had good mights sleep. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area. Beaches are beautiful. We would definitely return.

We spend a lovely week in Coastlands (two couples and our dogs) and the layout of the cottage was just perfect, being cosy, warm and very well equipped and Jo & Paul have added some lovely home comforts and detail. The garden is secure for the dogs and the beach is literally just down the road. If you go in November be prepared that a lot of the smRead moreall shops close for the winter, however, Mumbles isn't too far for bakers, butchers and good old fish and chips. Plus Sainsburys and Tesco deliver! Hide

Such a beautiful, well equipped, high spec property in a superb location. Only 5 mins walk to the beach, the marshes and the two fabulous restaurants in Oxwich. The house itself was perfect for our party. Lovely comfy beds, large social kitchen dining area but the highlights for us were the fantastic bathroom, really powerful shower, awesome bath, Read morewith blue uplighting and the place where we spent most of our time!! Wonderful stay at Coastlands enjoyed by 4 adults and one black lab. All you need and house is very welcoming and comfortable with secure back garden and outside lighting. Easy walk to Oxwich beach with plenty of watersports and the Oxwich Bay Hotel. Beautiful scenery all around the area good for walking/rambling.
