Contemporary lodge based on a complex of similar properties in Mundesley, perfect for couples, close to the beach and is within easy driving distance of Cromer, Happisburgh and Great Yarmouth.

Located on the west coast of Norfolk, Mundesley has beautiful sandy beaches and plenty of visitor attractions in the local area. If you love the sea and sand then look no further as the coastline boasts fantastic beaches from Great Yarmouth all the way over to Brancaster located on the north Norfolk coast. Within driving distance is Wroxham, the gate way to the splendid Norfolk broads where you can hire a boat for the day and explore the waterways. The traditional seaside towns of Great Yarmouth and Cromer are also within driving distance and offer a fantastic day out.

Upon entering the lodge, stepping through the front door you will arrive in the bright and contemporary fitted open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To your right is a comfortable sofa, situated perfectly in front of the TV, ideal to watch your favourite programme on after a long day exploring. To your left is the well-equipped kitchen area consisting of an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, perfect for preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner. Through from the kitchen is a cosy double bedroom where you can enjoy a good night’s sleep. Completing the accommodation next to the bedroom is the shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside to the front of the property is an enclosed area with table and chairs, perfect for you to sit at and watch the sun go down. On-site facilities include an entertainment centre with games room, gym and spa. There is also off-road parking for one car available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The one bed property had all the facilities required and was clean, however the actual dimensions in the living area space was a surprisingly small. Having said that the available space proved adequate and comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower with a very good water pressure and flow. Kitchen equipment was clean and in good working order.

Shower cubicle leaked and towel was needed to mop up water and not cleaned very well ie glass. Certain areas of accommodation eg corners behind and underneath furniture could be cleaner. Problem with C/heating. (Not working and then uncontrollable making accommodation very hot)

The cottage/ chalet was adequate for our week there. It was quite compact , the settee wasnt very comfortable, it was ok when we put a chair there to put our feet on. The bed was comfortable and I had a good weeks sleep. It had all the things needed for a stay there considering we were out most of the time.

The cottage is quite compact even for two people and a dog. However the location of the holiday village is in a lovely quiet setting with a cliff top walk into Mundesley where there are a couple of pubs that offer good evening meals.
