The ideal bolthole for a relaxing break, this welcoming contemporary house is set in the heart of Fordingbridge, with a great selection of amenities and the beautiful New Forest National Park nearby.

Set within a small courtyard development in the centre of Fordingbridge, this contemporary house offers excellent access to this pretty waterside town and a selection of pubs, shops and cafes. For a relaxed afternoon why not find a spot overlooking the river and enjoy a drink or meal? Located on the western edge of the New Forest National Park, many walking and cycling routes can be found nearby, making the most of the picturesque landscape this area is renowned for. The coast is also close at hand, with stretches of sandy beach at both Bournemouth and Mudeford. The market town of Ringwood offers further amenities or you can explore the neighbouring county of Dorset, which is also within easy reach.

A short path leads you to the front door. As you enter you will pass a separate ground floor WC before entering the cosy lounge/diner. In the lounge area take time out to relax on the sofa and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV or enjoy a leisurely meal in the dining area. The contemporary décor and leafy outlook are sure to make you feel right at home. Leading off the lounge area is the compact kitchen, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. Lovely location and property

We enjoyed our few days in 'Mallards'. It is conveniently situated for seeing a number of places, e.g. Wilton House, Sir Harold Hillier Gardens and all of the New Forest. it didn't take long to reach the coast. The lounge and bedrooms were comfortable, but the kitchen is very small for cooking.

This is a clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated modern house. It is within walking distance of the main high street with a supermarket and several pubs serving good food. The New Forest and attractions are a short drive away. The owners kindly left us a varied welcome pack meaning we didn't need to shop on arrival.
