In 2019 this cottage was creatively refurbished to foster a luxurious home from home location. The front door opens onto the kitchen/diner with high ceilings, exposed beams and is perfect for an evening of board games in front of the roaring log burner (first basket of logs kindly left ready for use). The kitchen is well-equipped including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and there is a large dining table with plenty of space to enjoy a feast. As you move into the spacious lounge there is a coal effect electric fire, comfy sofas and Smart TV/DVD, perfect for tranquil nights in watching some of your favourite classic films or you can open the French doors to the private garden and enjoy a charcoal BBQ on the patio. On the ground floor you will also find a stylish bathroom, with shower over bath and WC. Head up the spiral staircase to the first floor where you will come across a shower room with shower and WC and two bedrooms to choose from. The first is a king-size bedroom and the second, the twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request at time of booking).
Set in a 13.5-acre smallholding, you can relax in the private garden and enjoy the charcoal BBQ or adventure out along one of the many footpaths located within walking distance of your front door. If you prefer cycling to walking there is a lockable bike store on the property and plenty of adventurous terrain and hills to enjoy.
There is ample parking to the front of Badgers Drift, please note that the property is located near to the owners home although privacy is assured.
