A lovely thatched cottage in a quaint little village. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Big plus points for being only a 15 minute walk to the coast path with amazing cliff top views to Burgh Island and the beautiful Ayrmer Cove. Journey's End pub is only 5 min walk away and does great food but you should book in advance. Located in a lovely small village with fantastic pub. If you want to slow down and get away from it all this is wonderful, if you also like Tudor cottages and its good to have some history and soul in a place, this has lots of that. Lovely little quaint cottage and as described on the advert. Lovely location though a car is required if staying there. Cottage was very clean and well furnished. Lovely old cottage, small rooms upstairs so not great for multiple people. Garden is separate from the house so not ideal for dogs. Location is nice but tricky single track roads so I can imagine would be a challenge in busier months. Well equipped, could do with new sofa cushions as they were pretty hard on your bottom.

Stayed as a couple in late September. The cottage is easy to find and the location for surrounding towns and attractions is ideal. The facilities are as stated but are not particularly modern. The bed mattress needs a serious upgrade. The sofas have seen better days. The cottage was not clean in the sense that many surfaces and cutlery were 'stickyRead more'. Hide
