This is a hive for independent businesses boasting chocolate shops and eateries and is famous for little festivals such as Steampunk and the 1960s weekend. The thriving town of Halifax, with its famous Piece Hall and fabulous restaurants only a 10 minute drive away. The rugged Pennine Way passes nearby as does the Sustrans National Cycle Network, both extremely popular with cyclists and walkers alike. Top Withens and the Bronte waterfalls are also close by, as it the UNESCO World Heritage site, Saltaire, perfect walking for Clayton Beck. Go to a music event at the Grade 1 listed Piece Hall at Halifax only 6.7 miles away. The property is approached up a steep driveway to a side entrance into the boot room. On entering you’ll be amazed by the contemporary open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, perfect for socialising or just relaxing after a day of exploration, bio-folding doors opening out onto a large patio area, where you can enjoy al fresco dining and take in the views of the garden. Prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, American style fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, and enjoy your meal in the dining area with views of the Smart TV, also in the kitchen. The jukebox is a nice touch with many of pre-loaded songs so you can relax with sound of music filling the air. Chill out in the lounge after a long day of exploring with comfy seating and watch a film on the Smart TV. You will also find a second lounge area, with exposed brick work and feature cast iron stove, complete with sofa bed which if required an additional £25 is required at the time of booking, Smart TV, the perfect spot for spending a little quiet time. Also on the ground floor is a further bedroom, a twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) with TV, and a bathroom with shower over and WC. The stunning iron staircase leads up to the mezzanine style lounge area with comfy seating, large Velux windows, an ideal place to have a quiet read and relax.
