Close to Aberaeron and New Quay, this superb barn conversion with its own private hot tub and shared swimming pool, tennis court and an undercover tennis table zone, on a working farm. Perfect to explore the coast, countryside and culture of Ceredigion.

The small village of Mydroilyn is just a short drive from Aberaeron and New Quay with picturesque harbours, Georgian architecture, colourful houses, shops, galleries and eateries. The interesting university town of Lampeter is slightly further inland and offers a range of museums, galleries, shops and restaurants too. Why not experience the views by steam train, go on a boat trip dolphin spotting, walk the Dylan Thomas trail, join the Coastal Path or find the secluded sandy beaches. This is a perfect place to explore the very best of the culture, coast and countryside in Ceredigion. With lots to see and do, after a full day out you can return to relax in the hot tub. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Arrive at the farm and continue straight ahead to this superb barn with all your creature comforts. Natural light floods into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with French doors opening out to the patio area. The lounge area is stylish with leather sofas and sheepskins and is perfect to relax in front of the Smart TV and coal effect electric fire. The kitchen area, with granite worksurfaces, is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. The dining table and chairs are perfectly positioned by the French doors, with views over the garden towards the open countryside, to enjoy a meal and plan your activities over dinner. You will also find a drinks fridge, chest freezer and washing machine in the separate shared utility room. Walk down the hallway and you will find two spacious bedrooms both with TV’s, luxury bed linen and cosy robes for the hot tub. You can choose between the king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC or the super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request). Take a leisurely shower in the separate shower room with shower and WC, that completes the accommodation.

Heading outside, you can relax and sit back on the large paved patio area with your own private hot tub, table and chairs and views towards the countryside.You are welcome to use the large indoor covered swimming pool. Please note the swimming pool is not heated. There is also the shared tennis courts and undercover table tennis zone for you to enjoy. The barn is one of two properties on the owners working farm though privacy is assured. There is ample private parking at the property. Within the complex of the Clysedale Cottage is another property named the Welsh Cob Cottage, also available to book.

Clysedale Cottage is a beautiful property set in tranquil farmland with gorgeous views. We enjoyed the use of the swimming pool, hot tub and large patio area. The owners are lovely people who made us feel very welcome and we had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing break. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic hospitality throughout. They checked to see if we were ok during the visit and made sure any queries were answered. Brilliant facilities available that the whole family enjoyed. Our 7 month old loved going up and down the cottage and around the tennis court in his walker. Very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return.

This cottage was by far the best we have stayed in over the last few years. It is so well equipped and comfortable we had the most relaxing holiday ever. Newly fitted cottage with ample room for four. Well placed for New Quay and Aberaeron visits and local restaurants. Great facilities including pool, hot tub and tennis court. Spacious utility room for additional storage with freezer additional fridge. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome, but were never intrusive.

The farm is in a great location within easy reach of New Quay, Aberaeron and Aberyswyth. The tennis court, hot tub and pool kept our kids fully occupied; the owner's dog even retrieved our missing tennis ball from the neighbouring field. The cottage is private, immaculate and fully equipped. Looking forward to coming back.

Arrived to a lovely welcome from Roy, Sue and Louise. The cottage was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped including a much appreciated welcome pack. When we booked the Clydesdale cottage we had little knowledge of this area , but found little gems in both the cottage and the local town of Aberaeron. Roy and Sue, the cottage owners were extremely helpful and friendly, without being intrusive. A great spot to relax and unwind. We felt totally relaxed in this rural retreat-a much needed break after lockdown in London. Greeted by the owners who were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Clysdale cottage is in a very peaceful location and well equipped. A welcome pack was left for us which was a nice touch. We all really enjoyed the pool and hot tub (beautiful view), especially our boys. Also managed to get in some tennis. Highly recommend.
