Enjoy a relaxing break in this delightful cottage, which is ideal for couples and small families, located in the heart of the popular town of Bakewell with an abundance of facilities close by.

Bakewell and the Peak District offer a huge variety of things to do and places to go, whether you prefer attractions such as Chatsworth or Haddon Hall, visiting the numerous market towns and villages, sampling the delights of local markets or exploring everything the great outdoors has to offer. Bakewell is one of the most popular towns in the Peak District, offering a range of shops, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The local area is well served for cyclists, as Bakewell lies at the start of the Monsal Trail, one of three car-free walking and cycling trails in this part of the Peak District. The rolling limestone hills of the White Peak and the dramatic moorlands and gritstone edges of the Dark Peak provide endless opportunities for exploring.

Step into the pretty south facing cottage into the stylish lounge which is decorated in cool tones of grey and offers comfortable seating, set in front of the beautiful stone fireplace with wood burner. Curl up on the sofa and pop something good on the Smart TV/DVD and relax. Heading through to the kitchen/diner with everything you need to create a hearty meal, well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave and enjoy a well-deserved meal at the stylish dining table. Upstairs on the first floor the cottage offers two pretty bedrooms, a bright and airy king-size bedroom to the front of the cottage and nearby double bedroom but just as inviting. These share the shower room with shower and WC for an invigorating morning rinse to prepare perfectly for the day ahead.

Outside, the front garden benefits from the sun throughout the day and with the bistro set ideally placed, it’s a perfect spot to sit and relax in the summer sun. There is a rear yard which is ideal for bike storage. There is also off-road parking for one car.

Lovely little cottage right in the heart of Bakewell. Very well presented (everything was new basically), very nice touch of a welcome selection of milk, bread and a bottle of wine etc (wasn't expecting that). Would love to go back, highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet location but only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre. Well equipped with everything you could need - the owners have thought of everything! We had a fantastic stay.
