A beautiful and peaceful farm on a hill in the heart of Devon. The owners (Farmer Nikki and Farmer Paul and their daughter) are very welcoming, as is their dog honey. We had a great time on the farm and couldnt recommend it more. Our kids enjoyed meeting their animals too. They also loved the trampoline and big paddling pool. Lovely cottage in a fantastic location. Beautifully quiet and being woken by the birds/horses was no bad thing. Just to note that for the cottage there is no enclosed garden - something we didnt realise until we arrived which made puppy toilet ring interesting but would be no issue with no dog/not a puppy who wants to explore everything. Thanks for a great stay in lovely surroundings. The cottage was well equiped and cosy. Our young girls loved the farm life such as getting the fresh eggs for breakfast. It was also a great base to explore Devon, be it dartmoor or the coast. We went for a pub meal at the Kings arms in Winkleigh on our last day- worth a trip . A stay to remember.
