Head into the market town of Beverley and find the popular racecourse, Beverley Minster and St Mary's church. For some retail therapy, head West to York, with plenty of shops and restaurants to try or take some time to visit York Minster, a Gothic cathedral with stained glass windows.

An excellent cottage in a lovely quiet village. The rooms were cosy but also spacious & well designed. Very tasteful decor & the patio & garden was so peaceful & well appointed.

We had a great week in this lovely cottage. As others have said, the garden is secure and beautiful and our dog really enjoyed it. Its an excellent base from which to explore the area, lots to see and do and theres plenty of information in the cottage. The landlord was there to welcome us on arrival and he let us know we could contact him at any tiRead moreme if there were any issues (we didnt need to). Great cottage in a gorgeous quiet village. The garden was amazing! Our dog loved it! We enjoyed RSPB Bempton, North Cliff Nature Reserve, York and a lovely 5 mile circular walk at Walkington! Also a fabulous meal at the Wellington pub in the village! highly recommend the food is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harthill Cottage and would Read morelove to return! Hide

A very lovely cottage in a beautiful location. For those with dogs there is a good walk a few minutes away that immediately brings you into the countryside. The garden and peacefulness of the village was very relaxing, A very warm welcome from the host was much appreciated.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage with our 2 dogs. We used it as a base to explore Yorkshire, going as far as Harrogate, York, Whitby & Scarborough. The nearest town, Beverley, was lovely. Extremely dog friendly & the market days there are fantastic.
