In a pretty Yorkshire village, nestled between such an array of possible attractions to explore across East Yorkshire, this can be a great base for your luxury retreat.

This cosy cottage is located in an enviable position in Lund, which is a small village with a traditional pub and restaurant within walking distance. This delightful part of Yorkshire is criss-crossed with fantastic walks and cycle opportunities. The Wolds Way is in easy reach and there are an abundance of National Trails and cycle routes, including those forming part of the Big Skies Bike Rides. If you are looking for a day exploring the East Yorkshire coastline, whether you like to catch your breath looking out from the dramatic chalk cliffs at Flamborough Head, watching the wildlife at Bempton Cliffs, or going for an amble along the sandy beaches nearby, you are spoilt for choice. Head 9 miles South to Beverley for a meander round the charming streets of this market town and visit the gothic Beverley Minster. A little further away to the West of Lund, is the beautiful historic City of York. A beautiful cottage in a lovely village. Beds were particularly comfortable and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Fraisthorpe beach about 20 miles away was our favourite and dog friendly. Would definitely recommend booking.

This is a lovely little cottage in a pretty Yorkshire village, close to some great places to visit such as Beverley, York and East Coast beaches. The accommodation was well equipped and very comfortable. As well as the location, the huge plus side to this cottage for us was definitely the large, secure lawn area at the back which made it perfect foRead morer the dog and ideal for relaxing outside. The owner was very friendly and provided some nice extras such as locally made apple juice and doggy treats. Hide

We had a fabulous stay, the accommodation is spotlessly clean and upon arrival we were greeted by the owners who live nearby which is handy if you need any assistance with anything. The garden is large and dog friendly. Lovely pub in the village. Would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely return again.

The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all necessities. The bath is amazing - I loved laying in it at night with a glass of wine and a book - perfect way to relax after a day out. The cottage is in the perfect location to venture out to the coast, on our bikes and to Read moredo some retail therapy. Had a fantastic meal in the village pub (The Wellington) - not cheap but the food was well worth the price. Hide

We booked at short notice to be close to other family members who were staying nearby. Facilities were excellent in every respect - huge, comfortable beds with every facility you could need as your home away from home. The patio and lawned area is perfect on a warm day/evening.
