This former workers cottage is set within 60 acres of mature grounds and ancient woodlands, offering spacious accommodation that’s perfect for family and friends whatever the time of year.

The Cheyney Park Estate sits within 60 acres of well managed farmland and ancient woodlands of which you are free to roam, The Cheyney Park estate is well served by foot, a well-stocked community shop and village inn’s are within walking distance along with the Hop Pocket Craft Centre. The perfect location offering easy access to Worcester and Hereford both showcasing stunning cathedrals and riverside walks, with smaller market towns that offer a more bespoke shopping experience in Leominster, Ludlow and Ledbury. For National Trust enthusiasts, there are several properties and gardens all within easy reach. For walkers, an enviable landscape of both rolling meadows and hills to climb with easy access into the Malvern Hills, the Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons. If it’s a festival that you are looking for why not take in Hay-on-Wye for book lovers or Ludlow for food lovers. Or stay closer to home and roam the waymarked paths and enjoy a leisurely walk.

Step inside this former workers cottage and leave your walking boots within the rear lobby. The kitchen/diner is accessed off the lobby, a great space where the kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A table with wooden benches is set to the centre and is the perfect place for a hearty breakfast before a day exploring. Off the kitchen you can access the snug with wood burner which is perfect for a chilly evening where you can sink back into the sofas and enjoy some quiet time together. There is a lounge set to the side with TV and games which is great for a little competition. There is also a ground floor WC. When the time comes to say goodnight climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find three bedrooms which 2 consist of a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can all be made up as twins on request) and 1 king size bed, one of these rooms has en-suite shower room and WC, and the other two rooms benefits from views of the grounds. There is also a bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC on this floor. Climb the stairs to the second floor where you will find the last bedroom, a further super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with an en-suite shower and WC.

A patio area is set to the front of the cottage where you can enjoy the views, also there is a summer house by the lake with a fitted kitchen which is shared between the two other properties.You can also roam freely around the many acres of gardens and ancient woodland. There is off-road parking for four cars.

You can also book property codes 75600 and 75602 to sleep 20 guests for larger family gatherings.

Wow what a fantastic place for 3 generations of my family and two dogs to stay. The house is furnished beautifully and has plenty of room. The outside space was perfect, the Summer house was ideal for sitting with a drink on the veranda and see the sun go down or watching the children rowing the boat on the lake or playing with the dogs on the largRead moree grass area. Absolutely delightful house, well equipped, beautifully decorated and furnished, and very spacious. Some things we hadn't even expected like huge TV with netflix. Lovely walks around grounds, and lots to do nearby. We did a lot of cooking at home which was no problem (once we'd mastered the induction hob) and tried the Wheatsheaf at Fromes Hill whiRead morech was nice too. Absolutely would recommend this property which was perfect for a family get together. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of space for our party of 7 adults and 2 large dogs. We enjoyed playing with the boats on the lake, and sunset drinks at the summerhouse is a must (although shared facilities we found we had these to ourselves!) A fantastic property with amazing views. There was plenty of space for grandparents, parents, two teenagers and also a dog to spread out but super areas to sit together in the kitchen and outside looking at the wonderful views . Beautiful house with uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out in the living rooms and kitchen. Agree with previous comments that the fridge is too small for the house capacity unless prepared to do regular food shopping. Otherwise this is a lovely, homely house.

A lovely spacious, comfortable property only let down by no enclosed garden space which looked untidy as the other 2 properties both had private outside space. Difficult with young toddler as we were worried about the lake. Fridge was too small for 4 bedroom cottage. A perfect getaway, plenty of space for a family of 4 (two teenagers) and my mum, plus our two dogs. Fully equipped kitchen, wanting for nothing. Lovely cottage, warm, spacious and well equipped. We could access all of the grounds which was lovely, but there were two ponds which might prove risky for a family with small children as there was no private fenced garden.

If you are looking for a secluded rural retreat, this place is lovely. It has been decorated to a high standard and was very comfortable. The owners have put a lot of thought into the layout and the little touches around the property. The lake is brilliant and how nice to be able to get in the little boat. The cottage was beautiful in a stunning area with a large pond that could be used and a shared summer house which was fully equipped. The location was central to Hereford and Worcester and there was plenty to do. We took our two dogs with us who loved tearing round the grounds and walking on the trails.
