The beautiful sands of Studland Bay are cared for by the National Trust and form part of a stunning landscape backed by dunes and heath land. The village itself is well serviced by a popular pub and a shop selling essential supplies. Lovers of nature can explore the reserves close by including Hartland Moor and RSPB Stoborough Heath. This area is also steeped in history with the pretty village of Corfe Castle and its ruins being a must see. Should you wish to spend a day in a traditional seaside town, head to Swanage with its Victorian heritage, promenade and steam railway. Bournemouth and Poole are also easily accessible via the Sandbanks ferry.

Accessed via an unmade road, the private driveway leads directly to the main entrance into this detached property. Once inside you are met with a welcoming hallway leading firstly to a kitchen/breakfast room on the right. This well-equipped space has an electric oven and hob, fridge, freeze, microwave and dishwasher. With a distant sea view on offer across heath land, preparing meals will be a pleasure here. Just next door is an inviting lounge with wood burner, TV/DVD, making it the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day in front of your favourite programmes. A door leads from here to a warm and sunny conservatory with views over the garden. Heading back into the hallway brings you to a useful shower room and utility area, with WC and washing machine. Next is the dining room. Here you can enjoy leisurely meals with the family in comfort, with the doors open to the patio area beyond. A staircase rises from the hallway to the first floor, where you will find a cosy twin room and a generous king-size bedroom at the top of the stairs. This light and bright room is flooded with light thanks to its large picture windows on two sides. To the front of the house there are fabulous far reaching views across the heath land to the sea beyond. An en-suite shower room complete with WC ensures you can begin the day feeling refreshed. Across the landing there are a further two bedrooms, both charming doubles, that share the contemporary bathroom, which has a shower over bath and WC.

Stepping outside you will find a patio area with furniture immediately to the rear of the property, where you can light the charcoal BBQ and cook up a storm. An area of lawn and established flower beds and shrubs lead on from here to a dividing fence. Should you chose to explore the wider garden beyond the fence you will find an expansive space complete with fruit trees and bushes, a large unenclosed pond (care to be taken with children and pets), generous rolling lawns and many lovely spots in which to sit with a good book or picnic. To the front of the property is a further area of lawn and gated off-road parking for four vehicles.

Studland is great for families, singles or friend groups. Property is easy walk to all amenities. Banks Arms does nice beer and food. Pig on the Beach is very good but expensive and book before you arrive for your Holiday. Off road parking for 4 cars at a pinch. Swanage is an easy drive and worth a visit.

Our 3rd week at Greystones but were unsure whether to book again. Given the cost there are some easy improvements, which would make it much more comfortable. Saggy sitting room seating is uncomfortable for grandparents especially. A well equipped kitchen but the hob is temperamental. The single mattresses in the twin room are cheap and uncomfortablRead moree (yes mostly used by kids but they also need a good sleep, and if they dont it affects everyone). The furnishings just need a bit more investment. Hide

Lovely spacious house and large back garden. Very well equipped with everything you could need. Beautiful location, and amazing views. Wonderful for nature lovers and walkers. We saw sparrow hawks and squirrels from the kitchen window, and while walking nearby we came very close to some deer. We hope to return.
