Lovely cottage, in middle of village. Comfortable and warm. Although it rained we found lots of nice walks. Enjoyed ice cream at the shop.

Cottage is beautiful and very well decorated. Great location, pub and shop very close. We had everything we needed for a lovely and comfortable stay. Enclosed garden does lead onto the road, my pup jumped the wall, so had to keep him on the lead. But very handy for sitting outside. A very busy village. Easy to get to local towns via car. Beautiful Read moreriverside area with great walks in particular the riverside walk to Thwaite and the buttercup meadows. Hide

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location if you enjoy walking. Well located near to The Farmer Arms which serves delicious food. The cottage is very well decorated with modern appliances. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who is thinking of renting with a dog though - the property doesn't have a back or side garden, only the patio paved area on the fronRead moret - we found it very difficult with our little dog who jumped the front wall twice on the first day, straight on to the road to see other dogs. Lovely cottage well equipped and nicely furnished with good taste, and a quality feel. The place is even more tranquil in the evening and night with no traffic. Shame the local pub closed during our stay Hide
