Set within the owner's grounds yet with privacy assured, this contemporary detached annexe is tucked in an elevated position above the popular town of Lyme Regis. Wander down the hill into town and explore the bustling harbour, known as the Cobb and the pretty chocolate box streets, where you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. If lazy days on the beach are more your style, you can take your pick from the stretch of sand and pebbles of Lyme Regis itself, as well as easy access to Charmouth and West Bay. Explore the surrounding countryside by bike or on foot, with many routes passing popular country pubs where you can rest a while.

From the gravelled parking area, approx 200m from the property, stroll along the road to the private entrance into this detached single storey property, accessed via a flight of external steps. This striking bolthole is set into the hillside with bi-fold doors opening into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has beautiful oak floors and contemporary décor, sure to make you feel immediately at home. The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The poured concrete work top incorporates a clever breakfast bar space, ideal for leisurely meals for two. The bright and airy lounge space is the ideal spot in which to relax after a long walk and offers a Smart TV. Heading through this room you will find an inviting and spacious double bedroom, with timber cladded feature wall. Enjoy a long lay in here and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV. An en-suite shower room and WC completes the accommodation. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the adjacent boiler room.

Heading outside you will find a patio area with garden furniture. Ideally positioned to make the most of any sunshine it’s the perfect space to enjoy breakfast, or perhaps drinks in the evening. To the front of the property are steps leading to the road. From here it is approximately 200m walk to the gravel parking area via steps, which will accommodate one car.

We had a fabulous week at Lyme Hideout. The property met our expectations, was extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished. Lovely place in a lovely location. Just out of the busy centre , 15 ish mins along the river. Initially we were concerned as the owners garden overlooks, however it we didn't feel overlooked at all. Very private in fact, It is very secure for the dog and has all you need for a comfy stay. Bring a flashlight as the road to the car ( or into Lyme ) cRead morean be dangerous as it's on an hill , single lane traffic with no path to walk on ( for a few minutes ). A beautiful well equipped apartment in a quiet lane with a short walk along the river into town. Great location for visiting the surrounding area with a private garden suitable for dogs. Would highly recommend.

The annexe is away from the busy town, very private with car parking. Modern, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished property with a large walk in shower. Lovely outdoor seating area too.

Lyme Hideout is a very nice property and we were very comfortable there. The only downside is the distance from the parking when loading/unloading the luggage from the car. Plenty of good pubs for eating out and a lovely walk along the river into town.

The cottage is lovely and very well thought out. It was warm and cosy and private. It was well equipped with all that you need to make your stay comfortable with added extras like a Nespresso coffee machine and underfloor heating great for sore feet after lots of walking. The cottage was finished to a very high standard, lovely fittings/lighting, comfortable seating and bedding, lovely soft thick towels. Kitchen very well equipped, we needed nothing. We stayed here for our mini moon in the UK, 4 nights with our dog. We booked the night before we arrived and all went smoothly. The place was very clean, bright and welcoming with a feel of luxury. Beautifully presented. Attentive owners. Very private position. The village of Lyme Regis is a 20 min walk downhill however the climb back is not for the lighthearted, but worth it! Accommodation has everything you will need to relax and enjoy your stay. Highly recommend.

The Lyme Hideout is a really luxurious immaculate property. We really could not fault a thing and is by far the best holiday property we have ever rented. We were blessed with good weather so could make the most of the outside space which was bigger than I had imagined from the photos and secure so our 2 year old cockerpoo was safe to roam around. A lovely property with added bonus of car park and patio. It is a steep hill down to the town but we managed to do it twice a day and we are in our 70's !! . A unique, well appointed and modern property set in its own private grounds. We were very lucky with good weather during our stay and enjoyed relaxing afternoons on the outdoor sun loungers. What an unusual property in a fabulous location! Loads of space for us and our dog, and wonderfully comfortable after a long day walking and fossil hunting! The parking situation (whilst fully disclosed at the time of booking) isnt ideal. Especially when arriving in torrential rain! However, this shouldnt be a deal breaker. This cottage is just perfect. It is fully equipped, the bed is super comfortable and the sofa is comfy too. There are lots of walks around the area and it is extremely close (15 mins) walk along the River Lim into Lyme Regis. I would recommend staying here and would definitely return. The welcome package was extremely appreciated. Great hosts too.

A beautiful little hideaway and well appointed. Ideally placed for fabulous walks and visiting the Jurassic coast. I thoroughly enjoyed a few days relaxing, even the return walks from Lyme Regis, so much to look at on my slow ambles back.

We stayed in Lyme Hideout for 4 weeks in October and enjoyed it very much. The house is high quality build and finish. We would certainly recommend it. Great place to explore Lyme Regis, Beer etc.

A lovely secluded property. Despite being only five minutes into central Lyme Regis, it could have been in the middle of the country fields.
