Top Shelter was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, nice big comfortable bed. Everything we needed was here (including a cream tea) plenty of places to visit. Perfect holiday location. Only thing that might stop us returning is the 300 mile journey from our home in Kent.

Top Shelter is probably one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Perfect for 2 of us, and in ideal location for visiting this area of Cornwall. We had a wonderful week staying in Top Shelter. Despite the best efforts of the weather we stayed warm, dry and very cosy. It's brilliantly located for exploring the far corners of Cornwall and it's lovely and quiet and properly dark at night. Dogs are welcome and ours had an absolute blast running around the fields and chasing after the odd deer (Read morewho always beat him to the hedges). The only downside for us was that the week had to come to an end - we could happily have stayed indefinitely. Hide

A lovely peaceful location and the property provided everything we needed for our stay. The delicious cream tea waiting for us on arrival was very welcome and enjoyed. We had some wonderful walks and there are lots of great places only a short drive away. I would definitely visit again.

Ideal size property for 2 people and a fur baby but no enclosed garden so fine if dog is ok with other dogs as owners dog roams free and its poop isn't picked up. We enjoyed our stay here. The owners are very pleasant, and had left a cream tea for when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The only downside, and this is down to personal preference, was the bathroom was a wet room. We would have preferred a walk-in shower.
