Corrachbeag is in a fantastic location, but the cottage itself is a little 'tired' & in need of a little attention. That however did not detract from our holiday experience - we had a great week exploring the area and its gorgeous beaches. We also enjoyed trips to Smoo Cave and Balnakeil Craft Village. Whilst we managed the walk to Sandwood Bay, weRead more weren't able to get to Cape Wrath - the wind prevented the ferry from making the crossing. Great location, very tidy and comfortable cottage. London stores close by is convenient for supplies. I suggest a walk to Sandwood bay during a Tay here. Quite long but a spectacular reward! Also Furness head is a lovely walk too especially when the tide is out. A drive to take in walks near Lochinvar is worth it. A ver enjoyable holiday.
