Cosy, terraced cottage overlooking the River Ness, within walking distance of the restaurants, bars and shops of central Inverness and offering easy access to both coast and Cairngorms.

Inverness is an excellent base from which to explore Speyside and the northern Cairngorms as well as the scenic coastline. Dolphins are frequently seen in the Moray Firth – pay a visit to North Kessock to the dolphin centre from where you can take a boat trip around the Inner Moray Firth. Alternatively pack a picnic and take the half-hour drive to the seaside resort of Nairn (19.5 miles). Visit beautiful Cawdor Castle and explore its stunning gardens (14 miles) or drive out to the National Trust Scotland visitor centre at Culloden Battlefield to learn about the last pitched battle on British soil. No visit to Speyside is complete without visiting one of the distilleries – take a tour around Glen Ord Distillery (15 miles) and enjoy a taste of the famous whisky.

Upon entering this charming property, the entrance hall welcomes you into the cosy lounge. With a large sofa and two armchairs this is a comfortable space in which to relax after a day out exploring the beautiful city of Inverness. Sit back and relax with a glass of wine in front of the TV. At the rear of the lounge a door leads into the cheery kitchen, which is well-equipped for whipping up some tasty meals which you can then enjoy at the cosy dining table for two, set conveniently just inside the lounge. The bright double bedroom has a lovely sash window and plenty of storage space. The adjacent bathroom has a shower over bath, handbasin and WC.

Outside there is a patio area with seating where you can sit and enjoy a coffee or evening drink.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The House was very cute. Has everything needed to have a confortable stay in Inverness downtown. Neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing, nex to the beautiful river ness. Parking place is just in front the house and always has space in. If you want to be in strategic place to enjoy Inverness downtown by walk, this is almost perfect choice.

Great position for the cottage. Easy walking distance to the town and fab dog walking along the river. So nice to be able to leave the car behind for a change. Great welcome with milk, tea and Shortbread. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

22a Douglas Row was a great location for access to the city center and its numerous restaurants & pubs with lovely view of the River Ness. Donna greeted us on our arrival to give an overview of the cottage and it's appliances and she provided a welcomed bottle of milk so we could have a cuppa after our long journey, together with some shortbreads wRead morehich was a lovely treat. The cottage itself was very clean but a little dated and could possibly benefit from a little redecoration. The bedroom was very light with just the vertical blinds at the window. Also, although this is separate from the cottage itself, the seagulls squawked regularly during the night which did disturb us - do they sleep??? The flat upstairs did have a variety of people staying for one or two nights, some arriving quite late into the evening. Hide
