Spacious and secluded holiday home set just 300 metres from the edge of beautiful Gair Loch, ideal for a large family or group of friends seeking a retreat in the stunning Scottish Highlands.

Set on the spectacular shores of Gair Loch, this spacious property is the perfect location for families seeking some time out in the clear, fresh air of northern Scotland. There are numerous stunning beaches with turquoise water and golden sand, backed by mountains around the bay of Gair Loch itself and beyond, including stunning Red Point beach with its views towards the Western Isles in the distance. Explore the quaint fishing villages scattered along the coastline or venture inland to visit some of the beautiful lochs, including Loch Clair and Loch Bad na Achlaise. Many boat trips are available – choose from whale and dolphin watching, shellfish fishing, or glass bottomed boats to learn about the local wildlife. Water sports lovers will enjoy kayaking (there is a kayak included at the property for your use) and sailing – there are clubs at both Badachro and Gair Loch.

Upon entering this lovely single storey property through the porch, you will be immediately struck by the light and airy feel. The superb open-plan lounge/dining room/kitchen is a fabulous space for socialising and has huge picture windows allowing the light to flood in, as well as offering superb views of the surrounding countryside and loch. With two sofas and a selection of comfy armchairs, there is plenty of space for everyone to sit and relax. The smart and contemporary kitchen area has been cleverly incorporated into a corner of this room and is superbly equipped for cooking up a culinary storm. Get together at the large dining table on the other side of the room to enjoy a family meal together. At the end of the day, simply stroll along the corridor to one of the welcoming bedrooms, all of which are decorated in tasteful, fresh tones with clean, crisp bedlinen, ensuring a refreshing night's sleep. Choose from a double, a twin that can be converted into a king-size on request, a standard twin or a bunk room – perfect for children. There is a shower room with a hand basin and WC and also a bathroom with a shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

Outside there is a very attractive garden with mature borders and a private patio with garden seating and a BBQ – a lovely place to sit either with a morning coffee or to enjoy an al fresco meal on mild evenings. There is also a trampoline to keep the children entertained. Further entertainment can be found next to the property in the converted garage which now houses a table tennis table, table football, a pool table and a dart board.
