Built around 1900 by the Stewarts of Ban-Rannoch, your sensational holiday home boasts spacious accommodation with a stunning interior design blending family antiques with a contemporary country style. Reached by a quiet lane, park your car outside your holiday home and step through the front door into your luxurious retreat. The open-plan living space is flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden. Curl up on one of the cosy sofas and watch the numerous birds and red squirrels in the garden. On cooler evenings, wrap yourself up in one of the sumptuous throws and watch the flames flicker in the wood burner. With its purple AGA stove, your kitchen has ample storage for your provisions and is a stylish space to rustle up family meals. Equipped with an electric oven as well as the Aga, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave, you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy leisurely meals at the elegant dining table before heading through to the snug for a nightcap or to watch your favourite programme on the TV. The first of the three bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, a spacious king-size with plump mattress, warm duvet and co-ordinating soft furnishings, this is a wonderfully restful space to slumber in. Next door to the bedroom is a bright shower-room with WC. Climb the feature oak staircase to the first floor where you will find another two bedrooms and the family bathroom. Tastefully decorated in neutral tones, the super king zip and link bedroom is a warm and welcoming space that promises a good night's sleep. There's ample storage for all your belongings in the room too. The cosy twin is dressed with crisp linens and soft throws to snuggle into when it's time for bed. Your family bathroom with shower over bath and WC is stylish and full of light from the large Velux window.

Your cottage comes compete with Ivy Maud-designed cottage garden with its herb patch where you are welcome to pick your own for extra flavour for your meals. At the bottom of the garden, you will find the deceptively spacious Finnish grillkota BBQ hut that seats up to 10 people so you can enjoy a sociable BBQ whatever the weather. There's also a patio seating area for al fresco lunches looking out across the rugged mountains.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Everything was perfect at Bridgend Cottage. It was one of the best cottages we'd stayed in and we loved it. Good walks straight from the cottage and a beautiful wooded setting; it all looked glorious in the autumn sunshine. We were sorry to leave.
