Escape to the Scottish Borders for an unforgettable stay in this stunning beach house, enjoying the added luxury of your own private pebble beach.

Overlooking spectacular mountains and the mysterious waters of Loch Long, this exquisite property is a feat of architectural design. With an enviable waterfront location and exclusive use of a sheltered beach and jetty, there's plenty to see from the comfort of your doorstep. If you fancy a stroll, just 1.5 miles away is the tiny hamlet of Cove with a welcoming pub; ideal for a delicious pub lunch and a wee dram of whisky.

Framed by seamless glass walls, the open-plan living space overlooks the beautiful Loch Long, creating the illusion of walking on water. On stormy days the roaring wood burner adds to the dramatic atmosphere, the perfect backdrop for dining in style at the table, or curling up on the sofa with a nightcap. The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing simple suppers or more elaborate meals, which can also be enjoyed outside on the decked balcony. From the entrance hall, you'll find three of the double bedrooms, the twin bedroom and the family bathroom, each carefully finished with soothing contemporary decor. The utility room and a handy cloakroom are also on this floor, with stairs leading down to the final double bedroom, sitting area, shower room and separate balcony.

Outside, the decked terrace leads to a pretty garden featuring a fire pit, BBQ and even a hot tub for relaxing evenings under the stars. Towards the bottom of the garden are steps leading to the private pebble beach and jetty, where you can board a locally chartered boat, ready to explore the loch and admire its resident sea birds, seals and porpoise.

My husband and I rented Cape Cove for our 50th birthdays and invited friends and family to celebrate with us. From the moment we arrived we were immediately under the spell of what can only be described as a magical and breathtaking view, ever changing depending on the weathers mood, but always beautiful and captivating. The house itself was the heRead moreight of luxury. Beautifully clean, very modern, lovely comfortable bedrooms with the most amazing bed linens and everything we could possibly need for the perfect getaway. Last but certainly not least I must thank Pamela who was always available for any questions and who had left lots of goodies to welcome us. Thank you for making our stay so nice. I would highly recommend Cape Cove, a true 5 star experience! Hide
