This carefully designed, wheelchair accessible holiday home is set in an elevated position on Skye, where it enjoys breath-taking views out across the water.

Your bright, modern holiday home, which sleeps up to six guests and is wheelchair accessible, and set in an incredible position, overlooking the Isle of Skye's magnificent Sound of Sleat. Find yourself captivated by the changing celestial colours from here and take in glorious sunsets from your incredible position. Look out over to Morar and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, as well as towards Eigg, Rum, Muck and Canna. Head off on day trips to explore the picturesque island. Spend some of your holiday time wildlife watching – catch sight of sea eagles, deer, dolphins and even whales if you are lucky.

 

Enter your purpose-built holiday home to discover its comfortable, airy accommodation. With ramp access and a bedroom and bathroom at ground level, it has been designed to be accessible for wheelchair users. At the heart of your attractive property is your lounger/diner, where you can settle down in front of a roaring wood burner on chilly evenings and watch TV and catch up with the latest series on Neflix or Amazon Video. Listen to the radio or play a CD as you enjoy family games together. Prepare meals in your kitchen and choose whether to dine in this inviting space or out on your amazing decked area, with its far-reaching views. Find one bedroom and a bathroom with walk-in shower at ground-floor level. Two more bedrooms and another family shower room can be found upstairs.

 

Your holiday home is set in an enclosed garden and comes with its splendid decked balcony, which is carefully positioned to allow you to absorb your stunning surroundings as you relax in the fresh air and dine outside. Please be aware a shallow stream runs through the garden, so children must be supervised at all times.

The cottage has wonderful views and is well appointed and comfortable. On arrival the property was spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The online information about the holiday home says that it is dog friendly and that dogs are allowed to stay in the house, hence the main reason for me booking the house. I was saddened and somewhat annoyed to see a notice in the top step of the stairs reading NO DOGS. Not exactly dog friendly one might rightly surmise. This cottage is located in a superb location. The views are stunning and there is a beautiful beach nearby. We liked the decking facing the sea where we saw dolphins swimming. The cottage is spacious and has a good sized kitchen with a dish washer, washing machine and a large fridge/freezer which is great. It has everything you need in a kitchen. The holiday home is situated on the south side which is very quiet but has plenty of places to visit within driving distance. Final part of the journey is on a narrow road which is a bit like an helter skelter, with plenty of safe passing points.. Lovely cottage will all the necessary facilities to make for a comfortable stay. They views from the decking and the various rooms are stunning and not to be missed. This property does have a very steep driveway leading to a large enclosed area around the cottage. This does not mean your dogs can run free within the area. A very comfortable cottage perched high up on the hillside giving spectacular views across to Mallaig and Eigg. We very much enjoyed watching the spectacle of the peregrines on their daily hunt. Loved our 4 night stay at Cnoc An Theine and wish it could have been for longer. The property is everything you could hope for; very well equipped, many non-food essentials supplied, and truly fabulous views. Our first time in Scotland and like so many others we have fallen in love with it. The cottage was just perfect, everything we could need and more. I highly recommend this property. We had a fantastic week in this peaceful and quiet place. Lovely house to get away from it all. It has lovely views all around. Driveway was a little daunting at first as quite steep from gate to house. Most places about 40+ mins away.

We had a lovely family holiday here. Well equipped house. Spectacular location. Pub and shop 10-15 minute drive away. Pebble beach close by, sandy beach 1 hr walk away. Lots of lovely places to explore within a short drive. Would happily stay again as theres so much more to see.

The cottage is a home from home. Equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! Stunning location and the views are spectacular. The road up to the cottage however is a test in itself but if you take your time its fine. Great location for exploring the island.

Beautiful cottage, everything you could wish for - very clean, comfortable and well resourced. The views from the house are incredible- every when raining and stormy there was always something awesome to look at. Would definitely recommend and would love to come again.

This is a well presented modern cottage with fantastic views, we even saw sea eagles. There's a lovely walk (about 10k) to a beach over a farm track, it's rated medium but while raining it's a difficult track. At that beach we saw seals approaching the bay while taking a dip in the beautiful waters. There's a much shorter walk (15 mins) to another Read morebeach but this is rather small and due to the rocks not suitable for swimming. There's lots more to around with a bit of car travelling. 9/10 Hide
