This carefully designed, wheelchair accessible holiday home is set in an elevated position on Skye, where it enjoys breath-taking views out across the water.

Your bright, modern holiday home, which sleeps up to six guests and is wheelchair accessible, and set in an incredible position, overlooking the Isle of Skye's magnificent Sound of Sleat. Find yourself captivated by the changing celestial colours from here and take in glorious sunsets from your incredible position. Look out over to Morar and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, as well as towards Eigg, Rum, Muck and Canna. Head off on day trips to explore the picturesque island. Spend some of your holiday time wildlife watching – catch sight of sea eagles, deer, dolphins and even whales if you are lucky.

 

Enter your purpose-built holiday home to discover its comfortable, airy accommodation. With ramp access and a bedroom and bathroom at ground level, it has been designed to be accessible for wheelchair users. At the heart of your attractive property is your lounger/diner, where you can settle down in front of a roaring wood burner on chilly evenings and watch TV and catch up with the latest series on Neflix or Amazon Video. Listen to the radio or play a CD as you enjoy family games together. Prepare meals in your kitchen and choose whether to dine in this inviting space or out on your amazing decked area, with its far-reaching views. Find one bedroom and a bathroom with walk-in shower at ground-floor level. Two more bedrooms and another family shower room can be found upstairs.

 

Your holiday home is set in an enclosed garden and comes with its splendid decked balcony, which is carefully positioned to allow you to absorb your stunning surroundings as you relax in the fresh air and dine outside. Please be aware a shallow stream runs through the garden, so children must be supervised at all times.

  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Cnoc An Theine is a perfect location to relax. It is so tranquil and offers access to everything Skye has to offer. This is our second visit this year.

We had an fantastic time at Cnoc an Theine, the property has everything that you may need, very spacious and beautifully fitted out. The deck provides uninterrupted views featuring a constantly changing views across the Sound of Sleat. Ideal for out two labs in a safe and secure garden area. Evenings provided a rare opportunity to see a horizon to Read morehorizon view of the Milky Way. Hope to return at some point in the future, highly recommended. Hide

Lovely cottage with large rooms and amazing views. All the essentials provided. There is a small shop with petrol station and a pub/restaurant a short drive along the road. The driveway is very steep but this was not a problem for us. Perfect whether you are looking for a base while exploring or just a relaxing stay. The cottage is in a fantastic location with breathtaking views of the rough bounds of Knoydart. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for self-catering. The wood burner was great also and we had uninterrupted access to the internet. The online information about the holiday home says that it is dog friendly and that dogs are allowed to stay in the house, hence the main reason for me booking the house. I was saddened and somewhat annoyed to see a notice in the top step of the stairs reading NO DOGS. Not exactly dog friendly one might rightly surmise. The fact that dogs are only Read moreallowed in part of the property should be clearly stated in the online information. Otherwise a lovely holiday property in a great location. Hide

This cottage is located in a superb location. The views are stunning and there is a beautiful beach nearby. We liked the decking facing the sea where we saw dolphins swimming. The cottage is spacious and has a good sized kitchen with a dish washer, washing machine and a large fridge/freezer which is great. It has everything you need in a kitchen. The holiday home is situated on the south side which is very quiet but has plenty of places to visit within driving distance. Final part of the journey is on a narrow road which is a bit like an helter skelter, with plenty of safe passing points.. At dusk a pack of Red Deer cut through the garden as they came down from the hills; at dawn we watchedRead more them heading back up. Lovely cottage will all the necessary facilities to make for a comfortable stay. They views from the decking and the various rooms are stunning and not to be missed. This property does have a very steep driveway leading to a large enclosed area around the cottage. This does not mean your dogs can run free within the area. A very comfortable cottage perched high up on the hillside giving spectacular views across to Mallaig and Eigg. We very much enjoyed watching the spectacle of the peregrines on their daily hunt. This was our first visit to Sleat and it surprised and delighted us.
