You'll feel instantly at home when you pull up to the front door of this charming bungalow, surrounded by mature trees and waterside vistas. If you can tear yourself away from the sunny patio, Pitlochry with its shops and Festival Theatre is only 7 miles away, while Aberfeldy (20 miles) offers heaps of family-friendly activities including a leisure centre and cinema for rainy days. Fishing, hiking and water sports are just a few of the more adventurous activities available nearby.

All on one level, the open-plan layout inside the cottage provides an ideal space to get the family together for a board game or a DVD. The rooms are bright and airy with pine floors, but when the open fire is lit and the curtains are drawn it becomes a cosy haven in which to curl up with a book and a glass of something. During the day, gaze out at spectacular views and watch birds flit to and from the bird feeder from the picture window in the lounge. The two comfortable bedrooms – one queen and one twin - share a family bathroom with walk-in shower

Outside, there is an enclosed garden and patio that overlooks the loch. If you're looking for the perfect spot for your morning cup of tea, this takes the prize. The garden gives plenty of space with ample parking and wonderful views of the loch and the Perthshire countryside too.

Location cannot be beaten. Views over the loch are amazing. Busy bird feeders at to the enjoyment. Woodpeckers visited several times. Our 5th stay. This time we had a supermarket delivery and this made things even easier although the Coop in Pitlochry is only 25 minutes away. Never disappoints.

Brilliant property, quiet location with excellent local walks. Would definitely recommend. Sky TV was a bonus with not many properties providing this. Altogether a super week.

This was one of the best holiday cottages we've been to. Everything was of a high quality. The kitchen/dining had everything one would need and loved having the fireplace to use if needed. Loved the large lounge window overlooking the loch and to watch the amazing birds on the bird feeder. We got so much pleasure watching them that we purchased morRead moree feed for them. Love to come back. Hide

This was our 5th, stay at Creag Mhor, its all about the views and the location, its stunning! You have relative, isolation, no neighbours, but can be in Pitlochry within 15 minutes, to the bustle of a Scottish town, where you are catered for by all means of shops! We stayed for 2 weeks, and you dont have to travel very far for beautiful forest and Read moreriverside walks. The cottage catered well for our needs and as Ive said previously, has a real homely feel. Hide

We have stayed at this cottage several times: the location and views bring us back. The cottage is about 30 minutes from Pitlochry where there is the COOP and cafes. Walking trails within reach of the property as well as enjoyable scenic driving. The cottage is clean and spacious. Whilst it is not luxurious, the amazing view from the lounge over LoRead morech Tummel more than makes up for this. A well attended bird feeder also adds to the enjoyment and serenity of the overall experience. Hide
