This traditional cottage sits amid some of the most beautiful scenery in the Highlands — dramatic and peaceful, the hills and streams of Perthshire offer a beautiful backdrop to your escape to Scotland

The cottage sits within a working farm, so the walks and ways of rural Perthshire are on your doorstep. A mere hundred metres away sits Loch Freuchie, your own slice of Highland water, stunningly atmospheric, and you can even fish for trout here by arrangement with the owners. Explore further and head to Blair Atholl, a pretty village at the foothills of the Grampian Mountains, where you can explore distilleries and even catch the Highland Games.

Arrive at the cottage over acres of beautiful farmland. As you enter, the cosy ambience is immediate. Head through to the sitting room where you can snuggle up around the wood burner, or watch TV, as you unwind from a day of rambling. Next door, the kitchen and dining space is bright and friendly, with a generous family table. Upstairs, the sweet country bedrooms offer all of your guests a chance to retreat and dream. A pretty double, a twin and a single, each has traditional features such as Gothic windows and coombed ceilings, with a natural décor highlighting the extraordinary Highland views.

Outside, a garden enclosed by a traditional stone wall is the perfect place to sit and breathe in the fresh Highland air.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £150 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Fantastic cottage and views, we have stayed here many times. The key holders Stan and Margaret are very good friends of ours and its always good to catch up. The cottage is always immaculate when we arrive, full credit to Margaret. We will be back next year.
